Shine Skills Centre cum Senior Secondary Adapted ApL Course Graduation Ceremony 2024

The Shine Skills Centre cum Senior Secondary Adapted ApL Course Graduation Ceremony 2024 was successfully held on 13 December 2024.

 

The ceremony took place at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Morrison Hill). The event was honored to have Mr. Herman HUI, GBS, MH, JP, Chairperson of the Social Workers Registration Board and VTC Honorary Fellow, and Dr. James Joseph LAM, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Vocational Training Board for People with Disabilities and VTC Honorary Fellow, as the Guests of Honour. While celebrating the achievements of the graduating students and their families, they encouraged the graduates to continue developing their potential and to strive forward in creating their future.

 

On the day of the ceremony, the Shawn - Shine Scholarships were awarded, and the Inclusive Employer Recognition Ceremony was held to acknowledge the support of Inclusive Employers over the years. Despite the challenging business environment, the employers have continued to contribute to the society and help build an inclusive community by providing training, work placements, and job opportunities for Shine graduates and students.

 

In the finale of the event, students showcased three spectacular performances - "Let's Dance" from Kwun Tong Centre, "Creative Percussion" from Pokfulam Centre, and "Tuen Mun Lion Dance Spectacular" from Tuen Mun Centre. Their performances received enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
